“Today’s
vision is tomorrow’s reality.”
Someone once said, “If you can conceive it and you
can believe it, you can achieve it.” Mike Levine’s
story, no different than your own, is living proof of this
hypothesis.
CENTURY 21 World Properties is the fruit of a seed that was
planted in 1990. Standing at a cross road in his career, Mike
Levine said goodbye to the hospitality industry, where he
served as the General Manager of several different full service
hotel properties, and embarked on a career in real estate.
Today Mike leads a group of 27 professionals (and growing)
who are dedicated to the highest level of customer service,
professionalism and integrity available in the business world
today.
“You become what you do. If it walks like a duck and
quacks like a duck, it is a duck. A person cannot effectuate
bad business and be a good person. Integrity is everything.
Life is a moment by moment, decision by decision, step by
step accumulation of events that adds up to who we are. There
is no way around it.”
“The only way to be a professional is to add value
to the lives of our customers and communities. Each of us
has a role to play in the world. None of us can do everything.
Human interaction is necessary. In the context of this writing,
the human interaction manifests itself as commerce. We at
CENTURY 21 World Properties are not Doctors, Lawyers or Indian
Chiefs. We are Real Estate Brokers. We sell our customers’
properties for the highest possible price, in the most appropriate
period of time and with as little inconvenience as is absolutely
necessary. No one can do it like we do. We are CENTURY 21
World Properties, REALTORS®.”
“Customer Service means caring deeply for our customers.
Whenever faced with a business decision, our customers’
best interests must be the factors that drive the decision
making process. This is our commitment to our customers. This
is also our commitment to ourselves. Without this level of
caring it is impossible to be the best. Anyone who does not
aspire to be the best is destined to fail. In today’s
competitive business environment customers are too expensive
to get. We cannot risk losing even one. Customer service is
our security blanket. Real Estate Brokers are in the service
business. Without customer service, businesses are nothing.
With it, business is guaranteed a seat at the table. CENTURY
21 World Properties will always be the best provider of real
estate services in our markets.”
Looking Back
“Reflecting on where we have been is necessary in the
process of mapping the road ahead.”
“In order to lead one must first follow. Investing
in ourselves is the only way that we can ever benefit others.
If we have nothing, then what can we give? Education fills
us up so that we can share ourselves with others.”
The moment we are born, our parents begin the arduous process
of preparing us for independence. “Eat your vegetables,
brush your teeth, make good grades in school.” While
navigating the mine field of the world’s distractions,
eventually we are faced with the “What am I going to
do with my life?” decision. Growing up in East Orlando
where surfing and partying were every day occurrences, this
quagmire required serious deliberation for Mike at around
age seventeen. Working in restaurants for a living and seeing
the surge in meals being eaten out of the home, Mike ultimately
enrolled in the Hotel and Restaurant Administration program
at Florida State University. Today, Mike uses the principles
that he learned in the Business School to assist his associates
and customers with business planning and investment decisions.
Mike’s education is certainly one of his most valuable
assets.
The State of Florida requires licensure of all those who
wish to participate in the real estate profession. The Association
of REALTORS® offers real
estate licensees the opportunity to truly become professionals
through educational opportunities and the sharing of experiences,
among other things. Mike Levine realized that integrity and
professionalism in real estate required a different set of
skills than those acquired in the hospitality business. As
a means to deliver the high standard of customer service that
Mike aspired to, he began following in the foot steps of other
real estate professionals by involving himself with the Osceola
County Association of REALTORS®.
Due to his diligent attendance and enthusiastic involvement
at the various events engaged in by the association, Mike
was asked to contribute to the leadership of the association.
In 1999 Mike Levine served as the President of the Osceola
County Association of REALTORS®.
This experience, and the experiences that lead up to Mike’s
Presidential service, required him to study, in great detail,
a variety of topics that have transformed the real estate
business over the last decade. These topics range from the
business practices that sustain the REALTOR®
as the “Center of the Real Estate Transaction”
to the provision of the education that is essential to the
rapidly growing REALTOR®
population in Florida. This experience challenged Mike to
share what he had learned with other REALTORS®,
who attest similar values, through the foundation of The Kissimmee
Real Estate Company, currently doing business as CENTURY 21
World Properties.
Confronting a panel of the finest professionals in anyone’s
field of expertise is unnerving. In August of the year 2000
Mike was required to do just that. His nomination to the position
of District Vice President to the Florida Association of REALTORS®
needed confirmation by those REALTORS®
who had served the Florida REALTOR®
family before him. Mike’s nomination was approved and
in 2001 Mike enjoyed the privilege of serving the state association
in this prestigious position. Mike’s service as 2001
District Vice President to the Florida Association of REALTORS®
has put him in the forefront of almost every real estate decision
that has been faced by the state of Florida since then. Mike’s
commitment to the safety of all Floridians, as it relates
to private property rights and real estate business practices,
makes him a voice to be reckoned with both legislatively and
at the state association of REALTORS®.
When thorough knowledge of real estate values, trends and
business practices is needed, Mike Levine is a very good resource.
The quality of the real estate professionals who carry the
CENTURY 21 World Properties business card is the best testament
to Mike’s accomplishments.
When Looking Back on Mike Levine’s Career, there is
one moment that cannot be overlooked. That moment came during
the Osceola County Association of REALTORS®
2004 Awards Banquet when Mike was recognized as the REALTOR®
of the Year. Words cannot describe the gratitude that Mike
feels as a result of this phenomenon. The man will be forever
honored by this incredible act of kindness bestowed upon him
by his colleagues.
Snapshot in Time
“So what have you done for me lately?”
Robust growth is the name of the real estate game in the
U.S.A.! And, particularly in Florida. Today, Mike Levine is
attentively monitoring the so called “Real Estate Bubble”.
“What does a Real Estate Broker have to do?”
to add value to his customer’s life? Quality of life
issues certainly come into play. Locating the right school,
the great outdoors, the perfect spiritual environment and
perfect neighbors is what it is about for most. Additionally,
we cannot forget the investment community. A Real Estate Broker
must monitor his markets closely. He must run regular analysis
tracking the number of transactions occurring in his market
place compared to the number of properties currently available.
He must track land values and developer / builder activity
in an effort to stay ahead of the supply curve in the market.
He must talk to buyers and sellers who are transacting business,
right now, to get a feel for human sentiments that ultimately
define a market. A Real Estate Broker must keep his finger
on the pulse of the market, always.” And, that is what
Mike Levine is doing for you today.
As the Chairman of the Florida Association of REALTORS®
2005 International Operations Committee, Mike Traveled to
Madrid Spain’s Salon Inmobiliario this year. This International
Real Estate Exhibition hosted approximately 130,000 real estate
consumers from around the world AND 1,000 real estate professionals
who Expanded Their Markets in this Global Economy. From Madrid,
Mike was off to Athens Greece for the 56th FIABCI World Congress!
FIABCI is a French acronym describing a Consortium of International
Real Estate Professionals. And what a group they are! FIABCI
professionals come together, literally, from around the globe.
FIABCI is recognized by the United Nations as the World’s
voice on real estate. FIABCI is an extremely unique and influential
group of professionals. Most importantly, Florida is on everyone’s
international radar! The FIABCI membership roster is THE database
to have. We have it!
Between our customary CENTURY 21 World Properties 25% annual
revenue growth rate and the incredible market that everyone
is experiencing in 2005, a 60% revenue growth rate is expected,
2005 over 2004. All Indicators are up. The number of transactions
is up from 220 in 2004 to an expected 320 in 2005. Hiring,
Training and Motivating each and every professional on the
CENTURY 21 World Properties team is Mike Levine’s passion
for 2005. The accomplishment of this goal will certainly enable
the company to continue to deliver more buyers for our customers’
properties. That is what it is all about back at the CENTURY
21 World properties ranch. |
